Maintenance for a short-term rental in Paris 14th

A home that welcomes guests every week wears faster than one you live in alone. A blown bulb, a running toilet, a tired water heater: nothing serious, but the guest arriving tonight will notice. In the 14th, where many flats are in older buildings, plumbing and wiring need a careful eye.

Spotting problems before the guest reports them

At every cleaning visit, the team checks hot water, heating, bulbs, sockets, locks, wifi and appliances. Anything faulty is noted, photographed and reported to you, with a suggested fix.

  • Small repairs done on the spot when possible
  • Bulbs, batteries, seals and small consumables replaced
  • A tradesperson called out for plumbing, electrics or locks
  • A quote sent to you before any significant spending

The quirks of older buildings

In the older buildings of the arrondissement, a leak can reach the flat below, a water riser belongs to the building as a whole and heating is sometimes shared. We know when to call a plumber and when to tell the caretaker or the managing agent first. We also keep the building’s useful contacts so we can act quickly on a Sunday.

Protecting bookings

When something breaks during a stay, our priority is that the guest can keep enjoying the flat. We arrange the repair at the time that disturbs them least and keep them informed. If a stay has to be changed, we discuss it with you first.

When the problem comes from a guest, our damage support page explains the next steps. For questions guests ask during their stay, see our guest care service.

Frequently asked questions

Will you ask me before every repair?

Small routine jobs are done directly. For any larger spending, we send you a quote and wait for your approval.

Who tells the managing agent about a leak?

We inform the caretaker or the managing agent when the leak affects shared areas or another flat, and we keep you informed at each step.

Do you work with your own tradespeople?

We call on tradespeople we know. If you already have your own, we can work with them.
